Job Title: Childcare Teacher
Position: Full Time
Company Information: Chatterbox Child Learning Center, located in Kiel, Wisconsin, offers care for children aged 6 weeks to 13 years. As a state-licensed facility, Chatterbox operates year-round, Monday through Friday, from 5:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Job Summary: Chatterbox is seeking lead or assistant childcare teachers to join their dedicated team. While experience is a plus, they are willing to train the right person. The work hours are on a flexible schedule, accommodating individual needs. No night or weekend work, no holidays, and the option for a 4-day work week (10 hours per day) is available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising young children at play
- Meeting basic care needs (feeding, diaper changing, guidance)
- Implementing lesson plans and leading activities
- Providing a safe and loving environment for children to grow and learn
- Light cleaning/sanitizing
- Making every day fun and enjoyable
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Fingerprint background check and eligibility to work
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Training and certifications upon employment:
- Abusive Head Trauma Training
- CPR Training
- Mandated Reporter Training
- Staff Physical
- Completion of state-required foundational trainings
Wage and Benefits:
- Wage: $11-$14/Hr
