- Identify opportunities and market your business.
- Understand financials: costs, revenue streams, profits margins, and cashflow for your business.
- Learn the process to obtain funding for your business.
- Complete a business plan workbook that can become the foundation for a full business plan.
- Connect with other entrepreneurs.
- Develop a network of small business support services.
- Receive confidential one-on-one consulting
Through instruction and guest speakers, the course serves those entrepreneurs who are considering starting a business, owners of existing businesses that want to get a handle on all the details, and those owners with successful companies they want to grow.

The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) will offer qualified applicants an Entrepreneur Training Grant* that covers 75% of the $1,000 course fee, reducing the cost to $250.
